| It
has been a pleasure to be a part of this practice since its inception
in 1979. Dr. Falcao is a man of vision and has formed a surgical group
who shares his perspective. Our surgeons have introduced new procedures,
such as laproscopic surgery and minimally invasive breast procedures
to the Department of Surgery in which they hold privileges. Practicing
in a teaching hospital, they have participated in the teaching and
training of many surgical residents. Continual education is an integral
part of our practice's success.
I enjoy the relationships we have with our patients, some of whom have been with us for fifteen to twenty years. When I see so many relatives of patients, professional colleagues and their families seeking our services, I know that speaks volumes about the confidence our patients have in our physicians. Frequently our staff members have opportunities to be involved in outreach services in our community, our nation and on occasion to people in other countries. Combining our talents and experiences to serve the community helps to keep us humble and human while also solidifying the relationships that allow us to work as a team.
