Humair S. Quadri, M.D.

Dr. Quadri is a board certified complex general surgical oncologist and general surgeon. He is highly experienced in all aspects of surgical oncology and general surgery. His areas of expertise include diseases of the liver, bile ducts, pancreas, gastrointestinal tract (including stomach, small intestine, colon, rectum), skin, breast, endocrine organs, connective tissue malignancies (sarcomas), and metastatic malignancies which may require cytoreduction/hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC). He performs procedures both open and minimally invasively using laparoscopy and robotics.

He received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C.. Following medical school he completed his general surgery residency at Georgetown University Hospital and completed a two-year surgical oncology research fellowship at the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Maryland. He then went on to complete a fellowship in complex general surgical oncology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.

Dr. Quadri was inspired to become a surgical oncologist when seeing patients with complex cancers who required a multidisciplinary approach to treatment. He understands that cancer patients are in a fragile state upon diagnosis and spends his time helping patients understand their disease and how best to help them. His goal is to always recommend the best surgical approach and multidisciplinary treatment to help cure a patient of their disease and improve their quality of life. Dr. Quadri has published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles on cancer treatment and strives to apply the most recent and up to date medical information when treating patients.

Dr. Quadri was born and raised in Maryland. When not in the office, hospital, or operating room, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He also enjoys learning about technology and the automotive field in his free time.
